Role Description

We are seeking a motivated attorney with 3–5 years of litigation experience to join our family law practice. This role is ideal for a thoughtful and driven attorney who is not only passionate about family law, but who also values collaboration, accountability, and contributing to a cohesive, high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, and related issues
• Manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and develop strategic recommendations
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and other proceedings
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management and exceptional client service

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation experience (family law experience preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters effectively while maintaining attention to detail
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the Maryland State Bar
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented, with a willingness to both lead and support when needed
