What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL A Driver - Home Daily position at Lefeld Industrial & Welding Supplies?
Drive new automatic truck for nitrogen tanker fill & delivery routes primarily, drive a straight automatic truck for cylinder & product deliveries, and filling cylinders would round out your role . We have a great crew to work with.
- Delivering liquid nitrogen by filling area bulk tanks
- Driving to fill liquid nitrogen tanker within 100 miles
- Product & cylinder loading and delivery on straight truck
- Occasional lifting and moving products
- Record deliveries and pick-ups and obtain signatures
- Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain safe driving
Experience/Certification Required:
- Class A CDL
- Recent tractor trailer experience
- Recent tanker experience helpful
- Hazmat Endorsement is a plus (training if needed)
- Good driving record the last 3 years
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Dependable, Reliable & Accurate
