Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier.
As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting with product sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
-You must be able to work weekends.
-Preferred Candidate is 16 years old and older.
This position is located in Valley City, ND.
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide assistance with their inquiries
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with product selection and provide product information
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features and benefits
- Promote additional products or services to enhance the customer's shopping experience
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Preferred Candidate:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to perform basic retail math calculations (e.g., calculating discounts, making change)
- Strong selling skills and the ability to upsell products or services
- Multilingual abilities are an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
