Barista-Weekends Required

Pay rate is including tips. Full time only, do not apply if you are not available 40 hours or not available every Saturday and Sunday.

Hiring a full-time barista at Leestown Coffee House & future expansions! Leestown Coffee House is a small locally owned independent coffee shop with both classic and unique drinks!

The set schedule for this position is still being developed but every Saturday and Sunday will be required. However, you are always guaranteed 2 weekdays off in a row.

Job duties include:

• Taking orders via headset and in person
• Must work well in a high pressure, fast paced, environment
• Operating (Toast) Point of Sale system (Counter / Drive Thru)
• Creating drinks for customers in a timely manner
• Using Espresso Machine / Grinders
• Managing/Organizing orders as they come
• Cleaning
• Opening / Closing Prep work
• Answering phone calls as necessary
• Follow set schedule
• Must obtain food handlers permit before starting work - will be reimbursed

Job Qualifications:

• This will be your only job - no students / no part-time.
• Not easily overstimulated
• Strives to constantly improve and do more
• Strong interest in Coffee
• Able to be on feet for 11 hour shifts
• Eager to learn
• Team Player
• Dependable & Punctual - Must have your own reliable transportation
• Friendly
• Prior food service customer service experience highly recommended
• Seeking long term employment with ability to move up

Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
