Title: Assistant Baseball CoachDepartment: AthleticsReports to: Head Baseball CoachCategory: Full-time, 12-monthSummary/ObjectiveReporting to the Head Baseball Coach, the Assistant Baseball Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in meeting the goals of guiding and building an elite-level NCAA Division II program. This requires the promotion of academic achievement and character of the student-athlete, fans, and the overall College community. The Assistant Baseball Coach will be responsible for recruiting prospective student-athletes, individual player development, game day preparation, opponent scouting, academic monitoring, and on-field coaching during practices and games. A focus on generation of net tuition revenue and meticulous budget management is essential for this position. The Assistant Baseball Coach must abide by NCAA, Conference Carolinas, College, and Title IX regulations. Days and hours of work will vary. Monday through Friday hours can be 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Frequent evening and weekend work is required for recruitment and games. TravelExtensive travel, including overnight travel, is required.
