Looking for a local pickup and delivery driver to work out of MACON,GA building. You will be driving a FedEx branded delivery truck and wearing a uniform. If you want your application to be taken seriously, please complete the skills tests associated with this listing.

- Must be a self-motivated and energetic personality.

- Full-time employment 5 or 6 days a week, must be eligible to work weekends.

-must have a reliable transportation to and from work !

- This position is working for an independent contractor who contracts with FedEx Ground to deliver in the MACON AND WARNER ROBINS area.

- Looking for someone that is reliable and hard working.

- start time 8:00 am

- Must be able to pass DOT physical, criminal background check, drug screening and have a clean driving record.

- Must be 21 years of age or older.

- Most driver make anywhere from $20 - $28per hour. the best drivers make 1200 weekly. All comes down to how hard you want to hustle, the more you hustle the more you make. Pay is based on a per stop basis, the better you are at the job the more money you can make. Base pay is $625per week for training , after you pass training requirements good drivers make $1,100 to $1,200 per week, with $1,300 being the top of the top. This is a performance based pay job, there is a weekly minimum, The more work you do here the more you can make.

Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle
- Safely drive company vehicles to deliver products to customers
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- drive box trucks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle

Skills
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Knowledge of route driving and navigation
- Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with courier procedures
- Excellent driving record without any violations

Qualifications

-experience in delivery driving ,customer service ,or other related fields

-clean driving record

- ability to handle physical workload

- deadline oriented

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS !

BACKGROUND CHECK (no arrests related to crimes like,theft,sexual in nature,or violent offenses within the last 10 years )

MOTOR VEHICLES REPORT (MVR-No tickets for excessive speed within the last 3 years ,no accidents within the last 3 years ,no DUI'S within the last 10 years )

-DRUG TEST (federal DOT Laws apply -ex: no medical marijuana cards)

-Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions (rain,cold ,heat,snow etc )

- Must be able to lift up to 150LBS

-Must obtain DOT PHYSICAL/MEDICAL CARD ( We will pay for if you meet your requirements )

- Must be able to complete proper PRE/POST trip vehicle inspections and pass ROAD TEST

-Must have reliable transportation and cell phone

Must have OPEN AVAILABILITY
