Installation and Service Technician - Dairy Equipment

Hiring Locations: Glencoe, MN and Melrose, MN

Leedstone is seeking Installation and Service Technicians to assist with the installation and service of milk harvesting equipment, including advanced robotic milking systems. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy mechanical work, problem-solving, and working independently in the field.

If you have experience in plumbing, electrical work, refrigeration, welding, or general equipment maintenance—or are eager to learn—we want to hear from you. Paid job training is provided by Leedstone.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with the installation and service of robotic milking systems and conventional dairy equipment

· Perform miscellaneous equipment repairs as needed

· Travel regularly to customer dairy farms (company vehicle provided)

· Participate in an on-call rotation schedule

Education, Experience & Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent

· HVAC and/or welding experience or certification preferred, but not required

· Experience with dairy equipment (parlors, robotic milking systems, etc.) preferred, but not required

· Comfortable with technology or willing to learn

· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

· Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of temperatures

· Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

· Must have or be able to obtain a valid DOT Medical Card

Wage

· Minimum of $23.50/hour

· Individual compensation will be determined based on applicable experience and qualifications, balanced against internal equity
