A growing publicly traded organization in a highly regulated industry is seeking a Senior Manager, Human Resources to support a diverse employee population across manufacturing, operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, and corporate functions.
This position will serve as a strategic HR partner while providing leadership across employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, compliance, organizational effectiveness, and performance management initiatives. The role will also provide leadership to Human Resources team members and support organizational initiatives that contribute to business success.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to support workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent management, and succession planning initiatives.
- Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, and leadership coaching.
- Support compliance initiatives and ensure consistent application of HR policies, programs, and practices.
- Participate in audit readiness activities, internal controls, compliance reviews, and HR process documentation.
- Develop and maintain HR processes, workflows, standard operating procedures, and control documentation.
- Utilize HR systems, workforce analytics, and reporting tools to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and support HR projects focused on process improvement, operational excellence, workflow optimization, and organizational effectiveness.
- Partner with leadership to support employee engagement, retention, and development initiatives.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to Human Resources team members.
- Support HR technology initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of Human Resources experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, leave management, and audit readiness.
- Experience supporting SOX-controlled environments and publicly traded companies.
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, thorough, and high-quality work product with exceptional attention to detail and minimal oversight.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing HR functions across multiple states.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and HR technologies.
- Strong data analytics capability and experience utilizing workforce data to support business decisions.
- Demonstrated experience leading HR projects, process improvements, systems implementations, and organizational initiatives.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Experience supporting complex, highly regulated business environments is strongly desired.
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus.
