A Boca Raton-based consumer-products company is seeking a Project Coordinator to help organize and advance cross-functional projects from initial planning through completion.
This position will maintain project plans, coordinate resources and outside partners, track deadlines and costs, and provide clear updates to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist internal stakeholders with defining project objectives, scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, action items, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate assignments and dependencies across internal teams and external vendors.
- Track project progress, resource needs, timelines, costs, and changes in scope.
- Prepare status reports outlining progress, upcoming priorities, risks, and barriers.
- Communicate project updates and follow up with stakeholders on outstanding items.
- Identify potential risks and escalate issues with initial recommendations for resolution.
- Help project participants understand and use established tools, processes, and workflows.
- Support the implementation and communication of process improvements.
- Maintain accurate and accessible project records.
- Provide additional project and operational support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- One to three years of project coordination, project management, or related experience; relevant internship or academic project experience may be considered.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Smartsheet.
- Exposure to project management software and structured project workflows preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, assignments, and stakeholders.
- Sound judgment in identifying problems and knowing when to escalate them.
- Project management coursework or certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience supporting a consumer-products, manufacturing, product development, ecommerce, or related business is preferred.
