We're hiring an Inventory Accountant/Analyst with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in inventory accounting. The ideal candidate will be detail-driven, analytical, and thrive in fast-paced environments like cruise, transportation, warehouse, or shipping/receiving industries.
We need you to:
- Manage and reconcile inventory accounts
- Prepare and post complex journal entries
- Analyze inventory trends and variances
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams for accurate reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
It would be great if you have:
- 2–3 years of experience in inventory accounting
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems—PeopleSoft or SAP experience is a big plus
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and inventory control
- Strategic and critical thinking—you know how to dig into data and tell the story behind the numbers
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken English communication
