Summary/Objective
Serve as the school's athletic director. Provide assistance to the Principal in overseeing the functions of student management relating to student tardy and attendance issues, assessment testing, and scheduling.
Essential Functions

- Oversee all areas of the school's athletic programming to include developing the athletic budget
- Supervise extracurricular activities, ensuring the District's policies are followed
- Coordinate transportation for athletic events
- Manage the schedule of athletic contests and coordinate with the state association for officials
- Provide general supervision to students
- Administer a program of student discipline and interact with students to encourage positive performance
- Respond to all internal and external customers, as it relates to the job, in a prompt, efficient, friendly, and patient manner
- Oversee fundraising
- Coordinate the distribution of awards and purchase of athletic equipment
- Establish rapport and working relationships with parents, students, and non-school athletic programs
- Maintain the confidentiality of protected student and staff member information even after no longer employed
- Maintain knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations, and rules
- Perform related duties as assigned in a safe and prudent manner

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position contracted for 151 days between July and June. Extended work hours to meet deadlines may regularly be required.
Required Education and Experience
- Five years of successful teaching or administrative experience or combination thereof
- 3-5 Yearsof MS/HS Coaching
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience in managing and overseeing a department
Required Certifications/Licenses
- Valid state of Arizona issued K-12 Teaching Certificate
- Valid driver's license
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card with an IVP number through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Salary : $57,923 - $64,373
