Duties

• Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them with their orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare food items quickly and accurately, following food safety and sanitation standards to ensure quality and safety.
• Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity.
• Upsell menu items to boost sales and enhance customer experience by suggesting popular or complementary products.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations through bussing, sanitation, and food handling practices.
• Assist with food preparation tasks including assembling orders, packaging meals, and managing inventory levels.
• Support team members in various roles such as food service, cashiering, or food delivery to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for sales upselling.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
