Position SummaryLee Park Preparatory is seeking passionate, Christ-centered teachers for Middle School and High School. Candidates must demonstrate strong instructional ability, a love for students, and a desire to integrate biblical truth into daily teaching. This position includes planning, delivering instruction, assessing student learning, and actively partnering with parents.
Full-time positions available in multiple subject areas.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Planning
- Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons.
- Integrate a biblical worldview into all instruction and classroom culture.
- Use a variety of learning strategies to meet diverse needs.
- Maintain accurate gradebooks and provide timely feedback.
Classroom Leadership
- Create a safe, structured, and Christ-honoring classroom environment.
- Manage student behavior with consistency, grace, and clarity.
- Cultivate meaningful relationships with students built on respect and discipleship.
Communication & Professionalism
- Communicate regularly with parents in a professional and encouraging manner.
- Collaborate with teaching teams, administration, and support staff.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
School Culture & Mission
- Model Christlike character in words, actions, and relationships.
- Support school initiatives, extracurricular programs, and special events.
- Partner with families to support student growth spiritually and academically.
- Member in good standing of a church.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience teaching middle or high school students
- Strong Christian testimony and agreement with Lee Park Prep’s mission.
- Ability to integrate faith and learning in the classroom.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to professional growth and collaboration.
- Experience in Christian education.
- Familiarity with BJU Press curriculum.
- Training in classroom management or differentiated instruction.
- Academic schedule Monday–Thursday; Fridays used for assignments, planning, and student activities.
