Lee Michael Industries is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in New Castle, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience of servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles and construction equipment, including fleet trucks, forklifts, and other construction machinery.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow instructions, stay on task, and work independently.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work effectively with maintenance staff and shop personnel.
- Ability to frequently stand, kneel, crouch, and stoop while performing job duties.
- Ability to lift-up to 50 pounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair vehicles and equipment.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on fleet trucks and construction equipment.
- Track oil and filter changes, inspections, and maintenance records.
- Document equipment issues and recommend parts and materials for replacement or repair.
- Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Operate lifts equipment, and vehicles throughout the shop and yard.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and functional work area within the maintenance shop.
- Work cooperatively with other maintenance and shop personnel to ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and operational.
Work Schedule:
· Full-time 40 hours per week, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday & Over Time as required to complete task.
