Position Summary
Lee Machinery Movers is seeking a results-driven and strategic Business Development Specialist to drive growth and expand our client base. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our business development efforts. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify potential clients, market trends, and growth opportunities.
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies to identify and engage potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and customer-focused interactions.
- Assist in coordinating sales activities, including scheduling meetings, follow-ups, and contract negotiations.
- Analyze sales data, market data, and customer feedback to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Participate in marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities to increase brand visibility.
- Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Generate reports and summaries to track progress and communicate findings to the business development team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in business development, sales, within the construction industry, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Interest in the heavy machinery rigging and moving industry is a plus.
