Key ResponsibilitiesConduct and document safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.Lead safety meetings, educational programs, toolbox talks, and pre-job safety requirements to ensure alignment with customer needs.Assist in controlling hazardous conditions by addressing unsafe working conditions and unsafe employee activities.Collaborate with management and contractors to ensure safety requirements are met and equipment is safe for use.Read and interpret safety regulations and related documents.Write clear, routine reports and correspondence.Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in one-on-one, group, and large-scale settings.Establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.Exercise independent judgment while maintaining confidentiality.Remain calm and effective in a demanding environment while assisting a diverse blend of people.Solve practical problems in various situations and interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions.Required Qualifications3 years' experience as a Safety Professional working with industrial machinery installation projects or industrial construction.OSHA 30 Hour certified (or willingness to complete within six months).Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other Safety Management Software (Salus experience preferred).Willingness to travel (up to 25%) including last minute, out of state, and potential for being out of state for multiple weeks at a time and capable of supporting non-traditional shifts.Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a project team, maintaining professional emotional intelligence.
