Role Description The Senior Superintendent MEP Experience role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lubbock, TX. This role oversees all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) field activities, ensuring installation quality, system coordination, and adherence to project specifications and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, managing schedules, monitoring budgets related to MEP work, and coordinating with project management, design teams, and owners to resolve field issues. The Senior Superintendent conducts regular site inspections, enforces construction safety protocols, and maintains accurate documentation of progress, changes, and inspections. This role also mentors field personnel, promotes best practices, and supports the successful delivery of complex building systems on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) expertise, including strong knowledge of plumbing systems and coordination of trades.
- Construction safety skills, with a proven ability to implement and enforce site safety programs and regulatory compliance.
- Project management capabilities, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and field issue resolution.
- Budgeting and cost control skills related to MEP scopes and overall project financial performance.
- Extensive experience as a superintendent or senior field leader on large commercial or institutional construction projects.
