POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the marketing of the company’s products and services to meet the company’s objectives in the US Asian Channel (retail, foodservice and industrial).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Devises product go-to-market process, plan timelines, launch scenarios, pricing strategies, and promotions.
- Conducts continuous sales and competitor analysis to provide insights and action plans, updates marketing data, and gathers new business intelligence to develop a detailed understanding of the market’s actual needs.
- Collaborates with the Asian sales team to provide solutions for marketing needs and customer support.
- Liaise with sales team and transform data-led knowledge into specific strategic plans.
- Stays updated to global food trends, and the characteristics of each region to ensure smooth product launches.
- Assists Associate Director, Channel Marketing to develop and execute online/ offline marketing plans and programs (including trade programs), both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of company products.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to manage social media, create content, conduct community outreach, organize events, secure sponsorship, execute advertising campaigns, lead on KV and in-store POSM development and manage PR activities.
- Collaborates with chefs on recipe development and new menu ideation.
- Handles all inquiry submission to technical services.
- Handles the labels and artwork on the packaging development.
- Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs.
- Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans working with sales, advertising, and POP material production.
- Manages and implements marketing and trade marketing activities of the product launch and promotion with sales team.
- Leads and manages individual projects to achieve objectives within specified timelines and budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS

- This position requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications or a related field from an accredited university; and a minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual skill in both written and verbal English and Chinese is required.
- The individual must possess excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
- Candidate must possess working knowledge of Microsoft, Excel (including VLOOKUP, and PowerPivot), and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to work independently and clearly communicate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
- Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and external vendors.
- Must be detailed-oriented, thorough, and organized.
- Must have the ability to define problems, analyze data, apply concrete sales principles through data gathering and analysis, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Knowledge and experience in Power BI and SAP Hana are a plus.
- Experience in food industry/foodservice industry is a plus.
