What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Technician - Heavy Truck position at Lee Hy Construction?
Lee Hy Construction, family owned and operated since 1956, currently has an available position for a Heavy Truck diesel technician.
Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics and repair on heavy duty trucks.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems on trucks/trailer, heavy equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Work overtime as workload dictates.
- Work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Work in other areas of shop as assigned.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Trade-specific tooling.
- Ability to assemble/disassemble components.
- Troubleshooting and repair of common components.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to meet insurability standards to drive a company vehicle.
- Must have valid work authorization to work in the U.S.
