• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Supervise and care for toddlers or infants while ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and center policies.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that encourage exploration, learning, and growth.
• Support children’s social-emotional development through positive guidance and nurturing interactions.
• Assist children with daily routines, including diapering, toileting, feeding, handwashing, and rest time.
• Observe and document children’s progress, milestones, and developmental needs.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding their child’s daily activities, achievements, and concerns.
• Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and developmental observations.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to support program goals and classroom success.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Early Childhood Education coursework, CDA, or degree.
• Experience working with infants or toddlers.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with young children throughout the day.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
