What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher Preschool position at Lee Hill Early Learning Center?
We are looking for someone who enjoys playing with kids, designs developmentally appropriate activities, and works hard to build relationships with their students/families. The teacher would have his or her own classroom and build his or her own curriculum around the children’s needs and interests. We have a small preschool class of 6 kids ranging from 3-4 years old. They love nature walks, weekly trips to the library, reading lots of books, nature crafts, process art, writing, sensory play, hugs, and dance parties!
Our school is a small nature-based and play-based school for infants through pre-kindergarten , as well as before school, after school, and summer/vacation opportunities for elementary-aged kids. We are open Monday through Friday 7:00am-4:30pm, and we are located five minutes from the Lee traffic circle, in between the library and elementary school, within walking distance of the fire station and park.
