Warehouse Distribution Coordinator-Nights
The Omaha World-Herald, a Lee Enterprises entity, is hiring a full-time night time Warehouse Distribution Coordinator to assist in the distribution of newspapers to haulers and independent contract carriers. This position will provide general assistance and coordination in operating the Omaha Regional Distribution Center responsible for the quality and accuracy of newspapers and related products being distributed throughout the Omaha area, and delivered to the Sioux City, Council Bluffs, and Lincoln Local Distribution Centers. Overnight and weekend hours are required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and stage papers and inserts from 3rd party partners and print production partner haulers.
- Ensure quality control of newspaper bundles being distributed to contractors and haulers
- Ensure preparation and distribution to contractors and haulers is timely and meets deadlines
- Communicate with the Home Delivery Management Team in Omaha and Lincoln in the event of a route or haul not picked up by contractors.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse.
Candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and valid auto insurance.
