Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Project Estimator to join our team on-site in Fort Myers, FL. The Project Estimator will be responsible for reviewing project plans, estimating costs, preparing budgets, and providing detailed project proposals. The role involves collaboration with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure accurate cost assessments and financial planning for construction projects. Regular duties also include analyzing project requirements, updating records, and maintaining communication to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Project Estimation and Construction Estimating
- Experience in Cost Management and Budgeting
- Strong written and verbal Communication skills
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with relevant software and tools used in construction estimation (Oncenter, Plexxis etc)
- Knowledge of construction methodologies and materials
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in construction or a related industry is advantageous
