What You'll Do
- Answer incoming calls for multiple dental office locations
- Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment requests
- Proactively identify and fill open appointment slots and cancellations
- Assist with appointment rescheduling and schedule optimization
- Monitor and improve schedule efficiency across assigned practices
- Send appointment reminders and recall communications
- Verify insurance benefits using online payer portals
- Document insurance verifications within patient records
- Assist patients with questions regarding dental insurance coverage
- Research benefits, limitations, missing tooth clauses, treatment frequencies, and other plan details
- Communicate regularly with office teams regarding patient scheduling and treatment coordination
- Support walk-in appointments, same-day scheduling opportunities, and insurance updates
Qualifications / Preferred Experience
- Dental scheduling experience
- Dental insurance verification experience
- Dental office front desk experience
- Patient service or customer service experience
- Multi-line phone experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
