Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to residents, particularly youth that require a variety of social, emotional, behavioral and supportive/therapeutic interventions. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with children and possess the skills necessary to assist residents with basic living and personal care.
Responsibilities
- Provide active physical supervision and support of residents.
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
- Supervise, observer, and ensure the security of residents.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction.
- Assist with behavior management for residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Foster positive relationships with residents and team members while ensuring confidentiality and respect for individual rights.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles, particularly with children, is preferred.
- High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Social or Human services field and/or education equivalent to a four-year degree required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation purposes.

Schedule: One set day off during the week, Rotating Weekends.

Passages Males (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)

Voyages: (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
Detention (3rd)
