Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing training and professional development to school bookkeepers, administrative staff, and principals on budget coding, financial procedures, and personnel funding practices.
- Serve as a liaison between Finance and Human Resources to support alignment of staffing decisions with funding sources and licensure requirements.
- Assist schools in understanding and managing staffing allotments, including the financial implications of position changes or misalignments.
- Develop and maintain guidance documents, flowcharts, and reference materials related to finance and HR procedures.
- Monitor financial transactions and staffing data to identify errors, compliance issues, and areas for corrective support.
- Support implementation and use of district financial and HR systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Provide technical assistance to resolve coding errors, position misclassifications, and payroll discrepancies.
- Analyze trends in financial and staffing practices and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare reports and summaries that support leadership decision-making related to school-based finance operations.
