Build good relationships with landlords and property managers.
Share program details with landlords and explain the benefits.
Help with lease agreements and make sure they follow program rules.
Keep a list of available homes and landlord contacts.
Help match clients with housing and support communication between renters and Landlords.
Do home inspections to make sure places are safe and meet HUD (Housing Quality Standards).
Write reports and notify landlords if repairs are needed.
Check back after repairs to make sure the home is ready.
Help landlords become approved vendors with Lee County.
Make sure rental contracts follow safety and rent rules.
Teach renters about their rights, leases, and how to care for their home.
Provide resources like budgeting help or community services.
Support renters in keeping their housing long-term.
Work closely with the case management team.
Education and experience equal to an Associate’s Degree (2 years of college or job training) in human services, social work, property management, or a similar field.
2 years of experience in social services or related work.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Experience working with people facing homelessness or housing issues.
HQS (Housing Quality Standards) inspection certification or willingness to earn it within 90 days of hire.
Bilingual in English and Spanish or another language used in the community.
Familiarity with Coordinated Entry Systems (CES) and Continuum of Care (CoC) programs.
Salary : $45,211 - $55,000
