What are the responsibilities and job description for the Court Clerk position at Lee County Circuit Clerk's Office?
Answering phone calls, receiving payments and balancing daily monies, working with the public/customer service, working with court personnel, general office skills, filing, knowledge of business English and spelling, operating office equipment such as typewriters, calculators, copiers, personal computers, stamp machine, fax machine. Ability to read, write and understand English in order to process court documents. Ability to perform general mathematical computations and work with decimals and percentages in order to accomplish bookkeeping and computational functions. Ability to communicate (talk & listen) effectively with a wide range of people such as general public, other court system employees, attorneys, judges, judicial assistants, and law enforcement officers. Ability to maintain confidentiality in dealing with others in routine and special situations to ensure operation of the office as well as to present a positive image to the public, Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Qualifications - graduation from a standard senior high school or possession of a GED equivalency.
