Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in warehouse, inventory control and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Management is desired
- 5 or more years warehouse or inventory control management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products and MRP/ERP Software with the ability to be trained in use of the Company-specific applications and software
- Knowledge and understanding of technical construction specifications and materials purchased (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Certified Professional in Supply Management designation desired
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to define problems, asses options and make appropriate decisions
- Ability and willingness to demonstrate ethical behavior and a high level of integrity
- Good self management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage staff with a servant leadership approach
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet strict deadlines promptly
- Ability to take independent actions and calculated risks
- Detail oriented to ensure accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to plan strategically, set targeted goals and implement steps to reach established goals
