Lee Christian School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Spanish Teacher to teach middle and
high school students. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish, passionate about language
acquisition and cultural appreciation, and committed to integrating faith with learning. This
teacher will help students develop speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills in Spanish,
while promoting cultural understanding and Christian character.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Spanish I, II, and potentially higher-level or exploratory Spanish classes for grades 6–12.
- Develop and implement engaging, standards-based lessons and assessments.
- Integrate a biblical worldview into teaching practices, classroom culture, and student engagement.
- Encourage language fluency, cultural awareness, and a love for learning foreign languages.
- Maintain accurate student records, communicate with families, and provide regular feedback.
- Participate in school-wide events, chapel, and professional development as part of the LCS faculty team.
- Foster a respectful and positive classroom environment that supports student growth and discipleship.
Qualifications:
- A personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to a biblical lifestyle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Foreign Language Education, or related field (required).
- Fluency in spoken and written Spanish.
- Teaching experience in middle or high school Spanish (preferred).
- Strong classroom management, instructional, and communication skills.
- Agreement with and support for the mission, values, and statement of faith of Lee Christian School.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ACSI certification (or willingness to pursue).
- Experience with Christian education or student ministry.
