Job Summary:
We are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager within the construction industry. This role is responsible for developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction services/products, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to close deals and expand market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and/or industrial construction markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and key decision-makers
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and bids
- Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Forecast sales, track performance metrics, and report on results to senior management
- Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field
- 5–10 years of sales experience, preferably in the construction industry
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project lifecycle
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build long-term client relationships
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as needed
