Sales Operations Pricing Manager supporting the Trade Channel


Responsibilities:

  • Strategically evaluate sales opportunities by reviewing product, mix, customer, end user, and financial return (at both line and overall level)
  • Review Trade US pricing requests submitted by field sales
  • Compile, analyze, and route financials and strategies for large tenders/bids and opportunities
  • Interact and serve as a resource for sales staff and management to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining margin contribution targets
  • Assist in new product launch pricing; ensure new products are competitively priced as they are introduced into the marketplace
  • Drive an “ease of business” philosophy by reviewing customer stock pricing levels vs. SPA rebate pricing and market competition
  • Ensure LEDVANCE remains market competitive with existing products and drives incremental sales within the distributor base
  • Where possible, look for opportunities to remove friction with distributor customer pricing to allow for more streamlined purchasing
  • Competitive pricing analysis
  • Cross reference competitive products; provide field sales with LEDVANCE product offering(s)
  • Develop targeted promotional pricing to increase LEDVANCE market share
  • Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity as necessary
  • Train new sales personnel on operation of pricing system and overall operations/pricing strategy & approach


Competencies:

  • Familiarity with pricing systems (Vendavo, etc.).
  • Strong Excel capabilities
  • Team player; great collaborator
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus
  • Strong financial background preferred


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance or business.
  • 5 years related experience required

  • Relocation and/or work sponsorship is not available with this position
  • In-office requirements are: Tuesday and Wednesday 1 additional day
  • Compensation: $80-100k

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
