Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Maintenance Person to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing facilities across residential and manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance, welding, and working with schematics. This role requires leadership qualities to supervise maintenance activities and ensure safety and efficiency in all operations. The Maintenance Maintenance Person will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and infrastructure, providing excellent customer service to internal teams and clients alike.
Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting as needed.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and resolve automation problems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Supervise junior maintenance staff or contractors during repair projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility protocols during all maintenance tasks.
- Assist with facilities upgrades, renovations, and general maintenance person services across residential and manufacturing sites.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or residential settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in schematics interpretation.
- Electrical experience, including working with PLCs, Ohmmeters, and electrical troubleshooting tools.
- Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting projects.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management.
- Supervising experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities in team coordination.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work orders and interact with team members.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, customer service principles, and safety regulations is highly desirable.
