Van Driver Job Summary
Your main responsibility will be to ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of our residents. As a Van Driver, you'll contribute to the well-being of our community members by providing reliable transportation for various activities and appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport residents to and from appointments, outings, and community events.
- Ensure the comfort and well-being of passengers during transit.
- Assist residents with boarding and exiting the van safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the van, conducting routine inspections.
- Assist in community programs and activities as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and community members.
- Report any issues or incidents promptly.
- Uphold a friendly and helpful demeanor to create a positive experience for residents.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate a passenger van safely and responsibly.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with seniors.
- Respectful and patient attitude towards residents.
- Physical ability to assist residents with boarding and exiting the van.
