Daily Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with regulations
- Assist clients with tax planning and strategies to minimize liabilities
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for tax filings
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with financial statements, balance sheets, and general ledger
- Proficiency in accounting software and account reconciliation
- Ability to perform journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Understanding of internal controls and accruals
Nice to Have Skills:
- Min 5 year Tax experience 1120, 1065, 1040
- Experience with taxes, financial reporting, and reconciliation
- Quickbooks accounting software, and prefer Ultra Tax software
- Ability to perform financial analysis and accounting review for team members
Salary and Benefits:
Minimum Salary: $45,000.00
Maximum Salary: $65,000.00
