Billing Specialist

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join a growing team. This position is responsible for managing monthly invoicing, supporting billing and accounts receivable activities, and assisting with a variety of administrative and business functions. The ideal candidate is someone with strong organizational and communication skills who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, takes ownership of their work, and can manage multiple priorities effectively. Previous experience in billing and/or accounts payable is highly preferred.

• Generate and distribute monthly client invoices using QuickBooks and Excel
• Collect, review, and organize vendor invoices for billing purposes
• Create and send electronic invoices to clients
• Process incoming payments and support accounts receivable functions
• Maintain accurate records and filing systems for paid and outstanding invoices
• Assist with billing-related reporting and documentation
• Support general administrative and business operations as needed
• Communicate with internal teams and clients to resolve billing-related inquiries
  
  

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
• Previous billing experience preferred
• Accounts Payable experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications
• QuickBooks experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
