Overview/Summary
The Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for processing invoices and accomplishing organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle complex vendors
- High volume AP invoice processing
- 3-way invoice matching
- Work with Stores and Purchasing to resolve invoice discrepancies
- Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
- Process manual invoices
- Understanding payment terms /other charges
- Understanding Coding (GL accounts)/Sales Tax, Expenses, Supplies, and Trade/Inventory
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Respond to vendor inquiries
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Reconcile Received Not Invoiced report
- Understanding of Fixed Assets
- Maintain efficient and organized files and documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Scanning, copying and filing
- Assist with training new AP Analysts
- Assist with other projects as needed

Qualifications:
- 1-2 years full-cycle Accounts Payable
- Understanding Coding (GL accounts)
- Thorough knowledge of applicable accounting systems and financial chart of accounts
- MS Excel, strong 10 key by touch
- Ability to work independently
- Teamwork, Initiative, Leadership, Customer Service, Reporting Skills, Presentation Skills, Verbal Communication, Written Communication, Critical thinking, Organizational skills, Time Management skills, Operate Office Machinery, Detail-oriented, Reliable, Data Entry, and establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Degree is a plus
