Operations Coordinator
Location: Onsite in Eden Prairie, MN
Duration: 6 month, Contract, W-2
Pay: $19.50/hr
Our Transportation client is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support our logistics and transportation operations. In this role, you'll focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while handling various critical tasks that keep shipments moving and our clients informed.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute tasks such as order creation, shipment activation, load building and assignment, appointment scheduling, tracking/tracing shipments, invoicing, and financial updates.
- Manage non-standard activities related to carrier payments (T-cheks), and handle order rejections, cancellations, event resolution, booking, and load bouncing.
- Monitor task boards and shared inboxes to promptly respond to customer and carrier requests.
- Document shipment events per SOPs and experience; escalate issues as needed.
- Follow through on inquiries to ensure full customer and carrier satisfaction.
- Validate data accuracy in line with C.H. Robinson and customer standards.
- Perform other tasks as required based on team and location needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Availability to work evenings and/or weekends (for select roles).
- 2 years of customer service experience in a call center or logistics/transportation environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Previous customer service experience in a high-volume setting.
- Strong communication, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
