Pay: 150K bonus

We are seeking an experienced Digital Technology leader to oversee technology operations supporting a large-scale industrial environment. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable delivery of IT services, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity initiatives, and end-user support while partnering closely with business and operational leadership.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in industrial, mining, manufacturing, or other heavy-industry environments and possess a proven track record of leading technology teams, managing operational budgets, driving continuous improvement, and supporting both IT and operational technology (OT) initiatives.

• Lead and develop onsite Digital Technology personnel and third-party support resources.
• Ensure technology services are delivered effectively and in alignment with established service-level expectations.
• Execute infrastructure, application, cloud, and digital workplace initiatives in coordination with regional and enterprise technology teams.
• Manage site technology operations, including networks, servers, end-user computing, software licensing, and business-critical systems.
• Oversee technology budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and cost optimization efforts.
• Drive cybersecurity awareness, compliance, and technology risk mitigation activities.
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and operational resilience programs.
• Coordinate implementation of new technologies and support integration between IT and operational technology environments.
• Build strong relationships with operational leaders and key stakeholders to identify technology needs and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor and communicate performance metrics, service delivery results, and project status updates.
• Ensure adherence to established technology governance standards, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the technology organization.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent education in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 10 years of experience supporting technology operations within mining, industrial, manufacturing, automation, or other heavy-industry environments.
• 5 years of leadership experience managing technology teams, contractors, or support organizations.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including servers, networking, systems administration, and end-user support.
• Experience managing operational technology initiatives and collaborating with business and operational stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success overseeing technology budgets, resource planning, and vendor relationships.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Experience supporting compliance, audits, licensing requirements, and governance programs.
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.
