Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to play a key role in a large‑scale Platform Resource Management and workflow enablement initiative. This individual will work closely with business and technical teams to design, configure, and integrate enterprise workflow solutions that support complex operational processes.

The role offers flexibility to work remotely on a regular basis, with occasional in‑office collaboration required for planning sessions, training, or critical milestones. The initial engagement is expected to run approximately six months, with potential to convert based on performance and business need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the technical design, configuration, and integration of enterprise workflow and resource management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, Power Automate, Workday etc.)
  • Design and implement scalable, resilient workflows spanning multiple systems, including REST API integrations, event‑based triggers, and rules‑driven automation
  • Partner with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business processes into technical solutions
  • Lead workflow logic and form configuration efforts, converting business rules into actionable system behavior
  • Provide technical guidance and act as a trusted advisor through solution design reviews, demonstrations, and best‑practice recommendations
  • Build, test, and deploy solutions following established development standards and quality controls
  • Offer technical leadership and mentorship to development team members, promoting collaboration and engineering excellence
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges across hybrid environments, including on‑premise and cloud systems
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, business users, and support teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery
  • Perform platform administration duties such as security and role configuration, user provisioning, environment monitoring, and routine maintenance
  • Support production systems by diagnosing issues, maintaining performance, and ensuring reliability of critical applications
  • Manage SDLC activities using tools such as Azure DevOps, including release planning, change coordination, deployment oversight, and post‑deployment validation
  • Produce supporting documentation including architecture summaries, deployment guides, and implementation plans
  • Contribute to additional initiatives as needed in support of evolving business priorities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • OR equivalent professional experience (10 years) in application and web development
  • 7 years of hands‑on experience with .NET, C#, REST APIs, PowerShell, and SQL Server
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives across the full software development lifecycle
  • Strong background in enterprise workflow platforms, system configuration, and administration (e.g., ServiceNow, Power Automate, Salesforce, or similar systems)
  • Proven ability to analyze requirements and carry solutions through design, development, deployment, and operational support
  • Broad technical skill set across programming languages, development methodologies, and delivery practices
  • Experience coordinating deployments and managing environments in partnership with infrastructure and operations teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft development and delivery tooling such as Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with incident management, security practices, risk awareness, and end‑user enablement
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical stakeholder groups
