IT Support Specialist

Location: Grants Pass, OR (Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced IS Support Specialist to join a growing organization and provide technical support across infrastructure, systems, networking, and end-user technologies. This individual will serve as a key member of the IT team, supporting daily operations while helping maintain a secure, reliable, and highly available technology environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft technologies, server administration, networking, cloud services, and end-user support. This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide Tier II/Tier III technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments
• Administer and support Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, and permissions
• Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, Entra ID, and related cloud technologies
• Support server software, endpoint protection, patch management, and internal web-based applications
• Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco network infrastructure including switches, routers, and related equipment
• Manage email security, web security, and connectivity solutions
• Support desktop and laptop operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices
• Administer mobile device management (MDM) solutions and mobile endpoints
• Support VoIP, softphone, and cloud-based telephony environments
• Configure and maintain local and network printers
• Manage backup and recovery processes for on-premises and cloud-based systems
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues involving third-party business applications and integrated systems
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and system changes
• Escalate complex issues when necessary and collaborate with vendors and internal teams
• Travel between local offices to support technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance
  
  

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 3 years of experience supporting Windows-based environments
• Experience administering:
  • Windows Server
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • Microsoft 365
  • Exchange Online
  • Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting workstation hardware, operating systems, and software applications
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  
  

• Experience with Cisco networking technologies
• Azure cloud administration experience
• Experience with endpoint management solutions
• Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience
• Backup and disaster recovery experience
• Industry certifications such as:
  • CompTIA Network
  • CompTIA Security
  • Microsoft Certifications
  • CCNA
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or government
