Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Business Process Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and ensure seamless support for legacy systems (BASIS, AMCS, Great Plains, VERTEX, Samsara).
- Application Support & Enhancement: Partner with our MSP to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing applications.
- Team Leadership: Bridge the gap between management and development teams, translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions and reports.
- System Maintenance: Oversee version control, upgrades, and patching in collaboration with IT Infrastructure.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage AMS partnerships to ensure cost efficiency and service quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process optimizations, focusing on automation and eliminating manual workflows.
- Technical Advisory: Serve as the subject matter expert for application systems and guide adoption of emerging technologies.
- Strategic Roadmap: Develop and execute a long-term technology roadmap aligned with business priorities.
- ERP Implementation: Lead participation in ERP deployment, administration, integration, and optimization across all company functions.
- Governance & Compliance: Establish best practices for system security, governance, and compliance.
- Change Management: Drive adoption of new systems and standardized processes.
- Executive Reporting: Provide clear updates on progress, risks, and business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10 years of IT experience, including 5 years in leadership roles managing enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of business process flows, data flows, and security best practices.
- Experience managing AMS providers and consulting engagements.
- Proven success in ERP or large-scale system implementations (Finance, Field Services).
- Familiarity with CRM, scheduling, routing, optimization, and rental/lease business models is a plus.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of emerging technology trends and their practical application.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
