Overview: We are seeking an Accounting Supervisor with 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience to support our multi‑entity operations. This role will oversee key accounting functions including inventory accounting, fixed assets, reconciliations, and month‑end close, while helping ensure accuracy across four related entities.Key Responsibilities:Oversee accounting activities across 4 entities (2 larger operating entities and 2 smaller transportation/rail subsidiaries).Manage liquid and bulk inventory accounting (not‑easily‑measured materials).Maintain and improve inventory management processes and work within inventory management software.Support cost accounting functions and provide insight into production‑related costs.Track and maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.Assist with month‑end close and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.Collaborate with operations, transportation, and other business units on transaction flow and accounting accuracy.Utilize Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.3-5 years of accounting experience; supervisory experience a plus.Experience with liquid or bulk inventory accounting strongly preferred.Exposure to cost accounting required.Familiarity with inventory management software.Industry experience in Agriculture, Feed Manufacturing, or Trucking preferred but not required.NetSuite experience is a significant plus.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
