Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently while maintaining cash handling accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space, adhering to food safety standards and food handling protocols.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations through effective time management, ensuring prompt service during busy hours.
- Assist with catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions by serving food and beverages in a professional manner.
- Support team members with basic math calculations for bills, tips, and inventory counts to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering or cash handling is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guest groups.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol service regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or restaurants.
- Basic math skills for accurate billing, retail math understanding for inventory management, and cash handling accuracy.
- Experience working in the food industry, including catering or retail math knowledge, is advantageous.
