Overview: The Design and Installation Team Member is responsible for assisting in the construction and installation of project-based work including hardscaping, excavation, site-work, and various landscape installations. This role works closely with the Design and Install Lead and team members to complete projects efficiently, safely, and to company quality standards. Crew Members are expected to contribute strong effort in the field, follow direction well, and take pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail.


This position is designed for individuals who want to build hands-on skills in hardscaping and landscape construction. You will be trained in proper installation techniques, equipment operation, job site organization, and workflow processes. While this role does not carry formal leadership responsibilities, you are expected to be dependable, coachable, and committed to improving your skillset over time.


During slower periods or seasonal transitions, this role may assist with other divisions of the company, including property maintenance support such as cleanups, mowing routes, and snow operations when needed. Success in this position means showing up ready to work, maintaining a positive attitude, supporting your team, and consistently contributing to high-quality finished projects.


Job Description: The main purpose of this position is to work as part of a crew to service the company's project-based work such as design/installations, hardscape projects, spring/fall cleanups, among many other services we provide to our clients. The project-based work will take place in a team setting with a project manager. Must be comfortable operating a truck/trailer, as well as a truck with a plow during the winter, and other small equipment. Starting pay is dependent on experience ($22-$28/hr) with benefits such as paid time off, health insurance, and a retirement plan.

Requirements:


- Must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to and from work


- Be at least 18 years of age and out of school


- Previous landscaping experience (Hardscaping, Project based work, Seasonal cleanups)


- Ability to operate equipment in a safe and professional manner (Zero-turn mowers, company trucks with a plow, small power equipment)


- Experience with backing trailers


- Good attitude with an eagerness to learn/grow


- Good communication skills with supervisors/clients
