Septic Installer / CDL Driver
Ledford Services is seeking a motivated, dependable individual to join our septic installation team. This position is primarily for a Septic Installer, but applicants with a CDL, Tanker endorsement, and manual transmission experience are strongly preferred as they may also assist with operating commercial vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities
- Install residential and commercial septic systems.
- Assist with excavation, trenching, pipe installation, and setting septic tanks.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely.
- Work around excavators, backhoes, dump trucks, crane trucks, and trenchers.
- Safely transport equipment and materials when qualified to drive commercial vehicles.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections when operating company trucks.
- Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Perform general labor as needed to complete projects.
- Because we are a septic company, applicants must be comfortable working around septic systems, wastewater, and related odors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, excavation, plumbing, septic installation, or utility work.
- Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge is a plus, but not required.
- Experience operating excavators, backhoes, skid steers, trenchers, cranes, or other heavy equipment is a plus.
- Valid CDL is preferred.
- Tanker ("N") endorsement is highly preferred.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly preferred.
- Clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well with others while also working independently.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
- Having an Installer I, Installer II or any TCEQ licenses are a plus for us but not required.
Work Schedule
- Typical workdays are 8–10 hours.
- Overtime is sometimes available and paid at time and one-half.
- Work is performed outdoors year-round.
