Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer
Our global Manchester, NH client needs a Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer for their team. You’ll use your experience to define technical strategy, influence product architecture, and ensure robust, scalable, and manufacturable electrical solutions.
Responsibilities of the Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer
- Lead the design and development of electrical circuits, systems, and components for new and existing products
- Lead and mentor electrical engineers and technicians, and work on cross-functional product teams
- Lead design reviews
- Prepare technical documentation
- Support failure analysis and root cause investigations
- Evaluate new components, technologies, and design methodologies for continuous improvement
- Interface with global teams and suppliers to ensure project alignment and delivery
- Serve as the technical authority and escalation point for complex electrical engineering issues
- Participate in customer-facing technical discussions and support key strategic programs as needed
Qualifications of the Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
- 7 years of progressive experience in electrical design and product development, including system-level design responsibility
- Experience with regulatory compliance testing, certification processes, and documentation
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and embedded systems
- Proven experience with high-reliability or high-volume manufacturing environments
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
