Production Supervisor, Plastics- 2nd Shift
Our client is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead their 2nd shift team. This is a full-time, direct-hire role with great benefits!
Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor, Plastics – 2nd Shift
- Supervise all activities to maximize productivity, reliability, quality, and accuracy
- Help hire, train, and motivate team members
- Monitor and report on daily production results, material usage, scrap, and downtime
- Start up and shut down machines as required
- Foster a safe work environment
Qualifications of the Production Supervisor, Plastics – 2nd Shift
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory skills in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of production practices and procedures
- Well-organized and able to meet deadlines amidst constantly changing priorities
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office
- Familiar with hand and power tools
