Essential Responsibilities:
- Will ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes
- Leads the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversees incident investigations
- Reviews and updates construction schedules, addresses delays, and contributes to project schedules
- Estimates activity durations and materials for complex projects
- Working knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the project
- Participates in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiations
- Will set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team
- Provides leadership and mentorship to project staff and Superintendents
We’re hiring for multiple levels of project management roles in telecommunications construction. Ideal candidates will bring a mix of the following:
- For senior-level roles: 8 years of telecom or utility supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading large, complex infrastructure builds
- For mid-level roles: 4–7 years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility as Foreperson or Superintendent
- Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices
- Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub-contractors
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issues
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Travel will be required for these positions around the states of Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia
