We are looking for an experienced Fuel & Lube Technician to support production in a busy surface mining environment. In this role, you’ll operate a fully equipped lube/fuel truck to service a variety of heavy equipment, maintain fluid inventories, and perform routine inspections. You’ll work closely with maintenance and operations teams to ensure equipment is ready and running safely. Essential Responsibilities:
- Safely fuel and service various types of heavy equipment including CAT dozers, loaders, drills and water trucks.
- Maintain heavy equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns.
- Maintain inventory of service kits, lubes, oils, and other supplies.
- Communicate effectively in the coordination of equipment service activities with production and maintenance teams.
- Lead safety and production efforts by ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Minimum one year of experience as a Lube Technician or within a similar role.
- Knowledge of parts and servicing for Caterpillar heavy equipment models.
- MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal ticket required; training and support provided for certification updates.
- Clean Drivers Abstract issued within the last 30 days
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
- Project to commence October 2025.
- Work schedule: 5 days on 2 days off; Monday to Friday with weekends off.
- Site based position with the opportunity for long term employment.
- Night shift opportunities may also be available.
